Accountant Full Time

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at Amaken Properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably within the real estate industry. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, handling bookkeeping tasks, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data. This is an immediate opening.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including posting transactions and maintaining ledgers.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure that financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for management.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activities.
• Handle tax filings, audits, and other compliance-related tasks.
• Provide support during month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate sector.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, with the ability to handle complex financial data.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
