Accountant Full Time

Eastern Group is looking for a highly skilled Accountant with a strong background in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in project-based accounting and a deep understanding of financial management for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project-Based Accounting: Manage job costing, budget tracking, and financial reporting for construction projects.
• Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• VAT Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to UAE VAT regulations and support external audits.
• Profitability Analysis: Analyze project costs, revenue, and financial performance.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement financial best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the construction industry.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems, etc.).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
