Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with company policies.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all vendor invoices and customer payments are processed efficiently and on time.
Perform bank reconciliations regularly to maintain accurate cash flow and financial integrity.
Prepare and maintain financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
Manage petty cash transactions, verifying expense documentation and ensuring accountability.
Support VAT return preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations.
Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely documentation.
Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, highlighting key metrics and variance analyses.
Monitor budget utilization, assist in forecasting, and support management with data-driven financial insights.
Utilize accounting software to post journal entries, track expenditures, and generate reports as required.
Handle supplier reconciliations and assist in maintaining healthy vendor relationships.
Ensure all financial documentation and records are properly filed and accessible for audits and management reviews.
Support administrative and operational teams with financial inputs related to purchasing, logistics, and project coordination.
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably within trading, construction, or service sectors.
Strong understanding of UAE financial regulations, VAT compliance, and local accounting practices.
Valid UAE driving license – mandatory, for travel between branches, banks, or clients as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (Master’s preferred).
Proficiency in Tally ERP, QuickBooks, or other accounting software.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
