Accountant
Accountant Full Time
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE construction sector
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions
- Oversee payroll booking and ensure accurate monthly entries
- Prepare and review project cost reports and reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure compliance with VAT and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with the procurement and project teams on budget tracking and cost control
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable
Additional Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of project-based accounting and cost allocation
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, ERP)
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
