Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial transactions.
• Record daily financial activities, journal entries, and ledger postings.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and ensure timely processing of supplier payments.
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) functions and monitor customer collections.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies when necessary.
• Maintain General Ledger accounts and reconcile balances regularly.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor expenses and ensure proper recording and allocation of costs.
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial records and documents.
• Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring budget performance.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Assist in improving accounting procedures and financial controls.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial information.
• Contribute to the smooth operation of the finance department through effective teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting platforms.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and financial record management.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
