Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions efficiently.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare VAT calculations, documentation, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure timely and accurate UAE VAT filing and compliance with Federal Tax Authority regulations.
• Support tax reporting requirements and maintain proper tax records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding accounting and financial matters.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required reports and documentation.
• Review financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Monitor expenses, revenues, and financial performance indicators.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures and internal controls.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of accounting experience within the UAE.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT filing, compliance requirements, and tax regulations.
• Experience in tax reporting and maintaining compliance with UAE financial regulations.
• Hands-on experience with internal and external audits.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Experience handling Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger activities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, Pivot Tables, lookups, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
