Accountant Full Time

Noorka Logistics is seeking a skilled Accountant – Collection to join our team in Dubai. This role is crucial for managing and optimizing financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the company’s overall financial health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with the ability to manage collections, prepare financial reports, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Process and document daily financial transactions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Utilize the system to manage weekly payment schedules and oversee the timely invoicing and collection of rents and other charges.
• Prepare periodic financial statements for assigned projects.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts across projects.
• Coordinate with bankers for processing payments, receipts, and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain accounting controls by recommending and preparing relevant policies and procedures.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize account information and trends; create presentations and reports for internal use.
• Liaise with internal and external finance departments to ensure the smooth processing of financial transactions.

Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of experience in a similar role handling a range of finance and administrative duties.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CMA, CPA) is essential.
• Experience in Real Estate, Asset Management, or Construction industries is desirable.
• Strong understanding of financial terminology, banking transactions, IFRS, and accounting principles.
• Familiarity with VAT and its impact on business operations, such as invoicing and payments.
• Excellent communication skills with confidence in interacting with senior stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and superior analytical abilities.
