Job Description:
As an Accountant Assistant at Matajar ECommerce, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department and ensuring the accurate and efficient management of financial transactions. This position requires a dedicated professional with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist in daily financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
– Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
– Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
– Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
– Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and address financial inquiries.
– Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
– Monitor and track financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
– Support in the preparation of tax-related documents and compliance.
– Perform other ad-hoc financial tasks and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
– A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE is required.
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
– Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
– Good organizational and time management skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Knowledge of UAE taxation and financial regulations is a plus.
