Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete Accounts Payable (AP) cycle from invoice receipt to payment processing.
• Verify supplier invoices and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Process vendor payments accurately and within agreed payment terms.
• Maintain and reconcile vendor ledger accounts regularly.
• Resolve supplier queries, discrepancies, and payment-related issues promptly.
• Monitor outstanding payables and prepare payment schedules.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Ensure all AP transactions are recorded accurately in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams regarding purchase orders and goods receipts.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices, payment vouchers, and financial records.
• Prepare monthly Accounts Payable reports and aging analysis.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations related to vendor payments and financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Assist in audit preparation by providing required AP documentation and reports.
• Monitor cash flow requirements related to supplier payments.
• Identify process improvement opportunities within the AP function.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable functions.
• Prior experience in the FMCG industry is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes and financial controls.
• Experience managing high-volume supplier transactions.
• Strong knowledge of vendor reconciliations and ledger management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and payment processing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
