Architectural Draftsman Full Time

Chicago Maintenance and Construction Co. LLC is seeking a highly skilled Architectural Draftsman with 8 to 12 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating precise and detailed technical drawings using CAD software or traditional drafting methods. Experience working on school projects is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Drawings: Create detailed and accurate technical drawings based on specifications, sketches, or rough drafts using CAD software or traditional methods.
• Interpretation: Translate sketches, rough drawings, specifications, and calculations into detailed architectural drawings.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, designers, and other professionals to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all drawings.
• Revisions: Update and revise drawings as needed to incorporate modifications or changes requested by engineers or clients.
• Compliance: Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in drawings or specifications.
• Coordination: Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma in Architectural Drafting.
• Experience: 8 to 12 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman, with mandatory experience in school projects.
• Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with other professionals to ensure accurate and complete drawings.
