Position Summary:
NeXTEP Services is seeking a skilled Architectural Technical Office Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in architectural design and office engineering, with proficiency in key design software. The role involves working on technical aspects of architectural projects, ensuring design accuracy, and contributing to project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Design and Analysis:
- Utilize architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) to develop and refine architectural designs.
- Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with design principles and standards.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to review and finalize design plans.
- Project Support:
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and drawings for various architectural projects.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
- Address technical queries and provide solutions during the design and construction phases.
- Quality Assurance:
- Perform detailed reviews of technical designs to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Conduct site visits as necessary to verify that construction aligns with architectural plans.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Architecture).
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills:
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of architectural design principles.
- Proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects.
