Assistant Accountant Full Time

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Department. The successful candidate will support financial operations and ensure accurate documentation, data entry, and adherence to company guidelines.

Salary Range: AED 3,000 – 3,500 per month

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry in compliance with company standards.
• Handle banking tasks, including visiting banks and other financial institutions as instructed.
• Maintain organized filing of documents after data entry for the department.
• Provide supporting documents for audits, meetings, VAT returns, and management requirements.
• Manage cheque collections and transfer supplier payments using cash or cheque deposit machines.
• Undertake ad hoc tasks assigned by the Reporting Head.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth documentation and task completion.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards learning.
• Proficiency in handling large data entries with accuracy.
• Skilled in documentation and filing in line with set standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
