Job Description
International Community School (ICS) is looking for an assistant accountant to support the accounting team by managing financial records, processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and supporting with month-end and year-end closings. The role will require experience with accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Attention to detail and proficiency in accounting software are essential for the position. Previous experience in a school is required.
Requirements
Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Experience: 1- 3 years experience in accounting or finance within a school or education sector.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling financial data.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Knowledge of Accounting Principles: Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
