Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support our accounting department in financial record-keeping, reporting, and compliance with UAE accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Invoicing & Payments:
Process invoices and follow up on pending payments.
Assist in preparing payment vouchers and check payments.
Ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
Data Entry & Documentation:
Enter financial data into accounting software and maintain organized records.
Ensure all financial documents are properly filed and accessible.
Assist in preparing financial documentation for audits.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulations.
Support VAT return preparation and other statutory filings.
Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
Support Functions:
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Provide administrative support to the accounting team.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance (Mandatory).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be currently in the UAE.
Immediate joiners preferred.

Internship or prior experience in an accounting or finance role.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
