Assistant Manager Full Time

Job Description:

The Assistant Manager – Estimation will play a key role in overseeing pre-contract budgeting and estimation processes. The candidate will be responsible for managing cost estimation at various project stages, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting in alignment with project goals. This role requires a deep understanding of UAE market pricing for Civil and MEP items, along with significant experience in building and villa development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-Contract Estimation: Lead the budgeting and estimation process from pre-concept high-level estimates through schematic and detailed design stages to tender estimation.
• Project Involvement: Work on a variety of building and villa development projects, managing cost-related tasks throughout all phases of development.
• Cost Estimation: Develop and refine accurate cost estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other project documentation.
• Market Knowledge: Stay updated on current prices and rates for civil and MEP items in the UAE market.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with developers, cost consultants, and project teams to ensure estimation accuracy.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed cost analysis and estimation reports for project teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • 12-15 years of relevant experience in pre-contract estimation, with a mix of building and villa development projects.
  • Prior experience with developers or cost consultants is essential.
• Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, MEP, or related field.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of UAE market rates for civil and MEP items.
  • Proficient in estimation software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
