Assistant Manager – Purchase & Sales Full Time

As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for building and executing the purchase and sales strategy that is required to grow and maximize revenue growth for the dubizzle Car’s vertical. This includes analyzing the market and discussing and agreeing on business targets which include volume, revenue, collection, business development & retention. As the UAE’s largest used car classified website the position will be responsible for generating new listings thus increasing inventory and ensuring that all sales targets are met.
Achieve monthly managed, retail, and auction purchasing targets throughout all the branches in AUH.
Ensure branches are functional 7 days a week and prepare the roster for the team.
Monitor the sales and purchase funnel report closely including daily meetings.
Ensure a high level of stock turn and healthy inventory.
Responsible for identifying, developing & managing customers in a structured approach using available tools.
Play an active role in developing new recruits to the team so that they can consistently demonstrate agreed processes, product knowledge, and company values.
Communicate sales plans and targets to the sales team and provide sufficient training input, guidance, and motivation to achieve targets successfully.
Identify key talent in the team through effective coaching, 1-2-1’s, and performance reviews.
Discuss progression areas with key talent in their development areas and help drive their growth path.
Manage performance and results within the team and ensure delivery of budget commitments.
Ensure that our customers receive the highest level of product quality, transparent reporting and
outstanding customer service.
Deal with critical problems, major customer complaints, or issues that may be escalated and ensure prompt action or decisions for timely resolution.
Create a positive sales culture that promotes healthy competition within the team
Set individual targets (and when required team targets) in line with company revenue aspirations and be relentless in meeting the objectives
Interact regularly with the existing and prospective customers to establish profitable relationships and determine their present and future requirements
Ensures that dubizzle is in possession of up-to-date information (market intelligence) on the market trends in order to make informed decisions and have effective implementation of business targets.
Prepare and submit regular reports to management on achievements and conduct regular meetings with the team and the management to provide detailed analysis of the business.
Collaborates closely with the internal stakeholders especially to ensure that customers’ expectations are met.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of sales and purchase experience
Relevant expertise in used car purchase or sales
Previous experience using CRM software/Apps (Preferred Salesforce)
Valid UAE driver’s license
In-depth knowledge of the used car market
Expertise in a wide range of makes, models, and specifications specifically for GCC vehicles
Team Management
Strong negotiation and leadership skills
High-level interpersonal skills to facilitate communication in person, by email, and by telephone with professionalism.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively and efficiently
Highly presentation individual with a professional attitude
Must display resilience and a focus on continuous improvement
