Assistant Resident Engineer Full Time

Job Overview:

Stantec is seeking an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer specializing in sewerage rehabilitation to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing and managing sewerage rehabilitation projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.​

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Assist the Resident Engineer in managing sewerage rehabilitation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.​

• Quality Assurance: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, standards, and safety regulations.​

• Coordination: Liaise with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and project execution.​

• Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting project milestones, challenges, and recommendations.​

• Problem-Solving: Address technical issues that arise during construction, providing solutions to maintain project continuity.

• Compliance: Ensure all project activities adhere to local regulations and environmental guidelines.​

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.​

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years focused on sewerage rehabilitation projects.​

• Certifications: Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.​

• Skills:

  • Strong understanding of sewerage systems and rehabilitation techniques.​

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.​
