Assistant Sales Manager – Corporate Full Time

Position Summary:

The Assistant Sales Manager – Corporate at Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf Dubai will assist in driving sales and maintaining customer relationships. The role requires a focus on maximizing revenue through strategic sales techniques while maintaining guest loyalty and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address guest calls, requests, and issues by coordinating with relevant departments such as Sales, Data Administration, and Accounting.
• Apply effective sales techniques to maximize revenue, including up-selling, while maintaining guest loyalty.
• Handle complimentary offerings for loyal guests (e.g., rewards points, show tickets, gift certificates).
• Promote brand awareness internally and externally.
• Process guest reservation requests, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax, or mail.
• Manage Marriott Rewards redemption requests and enter relevant information into the system.
• Answer and address all guest queries, concerns, and requests professionally.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the Sales & Marketing department, such as filing, emailing, and faxing.
• Assist management with training and motivating employees, and act as a role model for the team.
• Ensure that all company policies are followed, including uniform and personal appearance standards.
• Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support team efforts to achieve common goals.
• Monitor team performance to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisors.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience in sales, marketing, or hospitality.
• Supervisory Experience: Not required.
