Cashier Full Time

Trustbend Packers & Movers is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to manage daily financial transactions and ensure efficient cash handling operations at our Dubai office. This role is critical in supporting our business by maintaining accuracy and providing excellent customer service.




Key Responsibilities:

• Cash Handling: Accurately process cash, cheques, and credit card transactions while issuing receipts to customers.
• Daily Reconciliation: Reconcile cash and other payments with the daily sales and prepare accurate reports for submission to the finance department.
• Petty Cash Management: Maintain and monitor petty cash funds, ensuring that all expenses are documented and comply with company policies.
• Transaction Recording: Accurately record all transactions in the system and maintain an up-to-date ledger.
• Customer Interaction: Assist customers with payment inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and provide receipts promptly.
• Bank Deposits: Safely hand over cash and cheques to authorized personnel for banking as per company procedures.
• Risk Monitoring: Identify and report any unusual activities or risks to ensure financial security.
• Support Audits: Assist in financial audits by providing required documentation and reports.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in finance or accounting is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using POS systems and basic accounting software.
• Numerical Aptitude: Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Integrity: Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to handling cash securely.
