Chief Accountant Full Time

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to oversee and manage the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in corporate accounting and possess expertise in the following areas:




Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Systems & Reporting:
• Expert in Zoho Books and Excel reporting tools.
• Financial Operations:
• Manage accounts payable and ensure efficient handling of transactions.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and detailed review.
• Monthly and Group Accounting:
• Oversee the monthly closing of books.
• Handle consolidation of accounts for group companies.
• Perform inter-company reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
• Audit Support:
• Prepare schedules and assist auditors during internal and external audits.
• Tax Compliance:
• Ensure accurate VAT filing and compliance with UAE corporate tax regulations.
• Hospitality Industry Experience (Preferred)
• Candidates with hospitality industry experience will be given preference, though this is not mandatory.

Requirements

• Experience: 8 to 10 years in corporate-level accounting.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Zoho Books, Microsoft Excel, and accounting best practices.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE VAT and corporate tax laws.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or CA -Chartered Accountant, These qualifications ensure the candidate has in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance—critical for overseeing corporate-level financial operations.
• Other Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
