The Role

As a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Jungle, your primary responsibilities include developing and implementing security policies and procedures to protect the platform and its users from cyber threats. This includes conducting risk assessments, managing incident response, and overseeing the implementation of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.

You will also monitor the platform for potential security breaches and work closely with other departments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the constantly evolving security landscape, and adapting the platform’s security measures accordingly.

Re-architecting our internal security processes and practices.
Re-design our security practices.
Work in securing a new asset class – an opportunity to invent new security techniques for our context.

Be an evangelist and promote awareness of our security products and ethos to others.

Ideally you will have

Familiarity with industry security standards including NIST, ISO, SANS, COBIT, CERT
Significant experience with business management and a working knowledge of information security risk management and cybersecurity technologies and strategy
Strong understanding and experience with Secure SDLC and DevSecOps or security automation
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or similar
