Clinical Pathologist Full Time

As the clinical pathologist, you will play a critical role in creating and implementing diagnostic strategies for the hospital, as well as interpreting and reporting on laboratory test results. You will also be responsible for providing expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases through laboratory analysis and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and accurate patient care.




Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement diagnostic strategies for the hospital, including laboratory procedures, quality control measures, and protocols.
• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, including but not limited to hematology, microbiology, and chemistry.
• Interpret laboratory data and communicate results to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of laboratory test results to support diagnosis, treatment, and management of patient care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of clinical pathology and implement new techniques and protocols as needed.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and completed a residency program in clinical pathology.
• Board certification in clinical pathology from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical pathology, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using laboratory information systems and various software applications.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory and safety guidelines.
• Must be Western-trained.
