Cluster IT Coordinator Full Time

Job Summary:

Aloft Dubai Creek is looking for an efficient and technically skilled Cluster IT Coordinator to provide essential IT support across multiple properties. The role requires troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment. The ideal candidate will support the hotel’s IT infrastructure to ensure smooth and continuous operations while delivering technical solutions for business problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment (e.g., printers, scanners).
• Respond to program error messages, diagnose issues, and correct or terminate programs as necessary.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to address business and technical problems.
• Coordinate with external vendors or technicians for servicing and resolving major hardware/software issues.
• Enter and manage system commands and controls to operate and integrate computer equipment and peripherals.
• Perform upgrades and routine maintenance on hardware, software, and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Maintain website technical architecture related to hardware and telecommunication connectivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security policies when handling IT equipment and during emergency situations.
• Communicate effectively with other employees, exchanging information through electronic devices such as radios, emails, and pagers.
• Monitor and maintain IT equipment to ensure it remains fully operational, inspecting tools and machines for defects.
• Perform any additional IT-related duties as assigned by the supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Experience:
  • No prior work experience required in a related field, but a passion for IT and eagerness to learn is crucial.
• Skills:
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and computer hardware.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lift and move IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Other Requirements:
  • No supervisory experience needed.
  • Flexibility to perform various tasks as requested.
