Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of ingredients and cooking of dishes as per Carbone’s high culinary standards.
Ensure food preparation and presentation meet the restaurant’s quality guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the kitchen according to HACCP standards.
Support senior chefs by following instructions and contributing to a smooth kitchen operation.
Learn and apply new cooking techniques, recipes, and plating styles.
Assist in stock control, inventory, and maintaining food safety compliance.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficiency during service.
Qualifications & Experience:
1+ years of experience as a Commis Chef in a fine-dining or luxury restaurant.
Strong passion for culinary arts and eagerness to learn from experienced chefs.
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Formal culinary training or diploma is an advantage.
