Commis Chef – Pastry Full Time

Andaz Dubai The Palm is looking for a passionate and skilled Commis Chef – Pastry to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pastry items and ensuring that service is consistent, professional, and aligned with the standards of Andaz and Hyatt International. Your contributions will be key to delivering a remarkable dining experience to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pastry Preparation: Prepare and present high-quality pastry items, ensuring consistency in taste and appearance.
• Service Excellence: Provide courteous, professional, and efficient service that adheres to the outlet’s operating concept and Hyatt International standards.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all hygiene and safety regulations.
• Team Support: Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • At least 1 year of work experience as a Commis Chef or 2 years as an Apprentice in a hotel or restaurant with good standards.
• Skills:
  • Basic culinary skills with a focus on pastry.
  • Good hygiene knowledge and practices.
• Attributes:
  • Strong attention to detail.
