Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon Full Time

As a consultant orthopedic surgeon, you will play a crucial role in the treatment and care of our patients. You will be responsible for providing specialized medical services related to muscular disorders, injuries, and diseases. Your expertise and knowledge will be utilized to diagnose and treat patients, as well as perform surgical procedures to alleviate pain and improve mobility.




Key Responsibilities:

• Perform consultations and physical examinations to accurately diagnose patients and develop treatment plans.

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans.

• Prescribe and administer medications and other non-surgical treatments.

• Perform complex surgical procedures, such as joint replacements, spinal surgeries, and corrective surgeries.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Educate patients on preventive care and lifestyle modifications to improve their overall musculoskeletal health.

• Keep accurate and detailed medical records of patients’ treatment plans and progress.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field of orthopedic surgery and apply new techniques and practices when appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.

• Completion of a residency program in orthopedic surgery.

• Board certification in orthopedic surgery.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proficient in various orthopedic surgical techniques.

• Must be Western-trained.
