Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist Full Time

Position Overview

The Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist will be responsible for providing specialist pediatric cardiology services to patients in our hospital. This role will involve the diagnosis and treatment of various cardiac conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and accurate evaluations and diagnoses of patients with various congenital and acquired cardiac conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient, taking into consideration their medical history and current condition.
• Perform diagnostic tests and monitor the progress of patients during and after treatment.
• Collaborate with other medical specialists in the hospital to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
• Participate in research and writing medical publications to contribute to the advancement of pediatric cardiology.
• Train and educate medical staff, residents, and students on topics related to pediatric cardiology.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Specialist certification in Pediatric Cardiology from a recognized board.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating various cardiac conditions in children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be Western-trained.
