Consultant Pediatric ENT Full Time

As a Consultant Pediatric ENT, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to children with disorders and conditions affecting the ears, nose, and throat. You will work closely with pediatricians, speech and language therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive treatment plans for your patients.




Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions and disorders affecting the ears, nose, and throat in pediatric patients
• Conduct thorough physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests to determine the cause and extent of patient’s condition
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient, which may include medication, surgery, or therapy
• Monitor the progress of patients and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
• Educate and counsel patients and their families about their condition and treatment options
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
• Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements and developments in pediatric ENT treatments and protocols
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations
• Participate in research and publications in the field of pediatric ENT
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and medical students as required

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an accredited medical school
• Must be western-trained
• Board certification in Otolaryngology and Pediatric Otolaryngology
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric ENT, preferably in a hospital setting
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills
• Fluent in English (Arabic language skills would be an advantage)
