Consultant PICU Full Time

As a Consultant PICU, you will be working in one of Dubai’s top hospitals, known for its state-of-the-art facilities and dedicated medical team. You will be responsible for providing expert medical care to critically ill pediatric patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for your patients.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide high-quality and comprehensive care to patients in the PICU unit

– Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed

– Consult and collaborate with other medical specialists to develop and implement treatment plans

– Oversee and supervise junior medical staff, providing guidance and support as needed

– Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary

– Participate in education and training programs for medical staff and students

– Adhere to professional standards, hospital policies, and ethical guidelines in all aspects of work

Requirements:

– Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or equivalent from an accredited university

– Board certification in Pediatric Intensive Care or equivalent

– Minimum of 5 years of experience in PICU, preferably in a similar role

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

– Strong leadership skills and ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team

– Must be Western-trained
