Customer Service Field Engineer Full Time

The Customer Service Field Engineer is responsible for maintaining and installing advanced automated systems, including airport cargo systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), and conveying systems. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of these systems by performing both preventive and corrective maintenance, while adhering to contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:

• System Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance on automated systems to ensure their optimal performance and longevity.
• Installation: Install and set up automated systems, ensuring all components are properly configured and fully operational.
• Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair system malfunctions quickly and efficiently.
• Performance Assurance: Monitor system performance and ensure all maintenance activities meet the required SLAs and KPIs set by the contract.
• Electromechanical Troubleshooting: Utilize electromechanical expertise to address issues related to mechanical, electrical, and electronic components within the systems.
• Customer Interaction: Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, providing updates on maintenance schedules, repair status, and system performance.
• Documentation: Keep detailed records of all maintenance and installation activities, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Strong electromechanical skills, with the ability to maintain and repair complex automated systems.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the maintenance and installation of automatic systems, including airport cargo systems, ASRS, and conveying systems.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to quickly diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in diverse environments and handle various tasks as required by client needs.
