Executive Housekeeper Full Time

Job Summary:

The Executive Housekeeper will oversee the housekeeping department to ensure the hotel maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in line with Hyatt International’s corporate strategies and brand expectations. This role includes managing guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces (excluding kitchen areas), and overseeing the laundry and dry-cleaning operations for hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry. The position also ensures exceptional guest and employee satisfaction while optimizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the housekeeping department, ensuring adherence to brand standards and corporate strategies.
• Oversee the cleanliness and organization of all guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house non-kitchen areas.
• Manage the laundry and dry-cleaning operations, including hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry.
• Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and schedules.
• Monitor and manage inventory for cleaning supplies, linen, and laundry operations.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping team members to enhance service quality and productivity.
• Collaborate with other departments to address guest concerns and ensure seamless operations.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient resource allocation for the department.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Uphold safety and hygiene standards throughout all operations.

Qualifications:

• Education: University degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Housekeeping In-Charge or similar role in a larger operation.
• Strong problem-solving, administrative, and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards in housekeeping operations.
