Seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Regional Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This position will work closely with various stakeholders including Accounting, Finance, and Financial system teams to solve complex problems that directly impact the financial reporting, plus collaborating with Sales and Operations teams to enhance the overall financial performance.
Whats on Your Plate?
Analyzing current and past financial data and performance, and preparing reports and projections based on this analysis key performance metrics, variance analysis, identifying trends and red flagging adverse events that could impact the business.
Provide detailed analysis and commentary on Business Unit results on a weekly and monthly basis.
Coordinate with accounting staff, interact with senior management to prepare data for monthly/quarterly performance.
Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.
Perform ad hoc analysis where required to assist in critical decision making.
Manage, use, implementation and development of online analytical reporting tools and design efficient reports and databases.
Active participation in process optimization initiatives for Finance.
Gauging the companys overall financial health, primarily by using key financial ratios such as the debt to equity ratio, current ratio, and interest coverage ratio.
Cost savings and capital optimization initiatives.
Positively develops relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.
Act as a strong advocate of organizations strategy and principles.
Operate with integrity, building and maintaining trust with all stakeholders.
Develop a strong understanding of the challenges and specific needs of the stakeholders.
Uses emerging technologies to collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
What Did We Order?
4 to 6 years of relevant working experience in Financial Analysis.
Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business or related field.
General knowledge of accounting / financial / operational principles – basic knowledge of IFRS.
Strong financial modeling, financial planning, statistical & information analysis, and analytical skills attention to detail with the ability to identify data patterns and conduct root cause analysis.
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint preference for candidates with knowledge of Tableau, MS Power BI, VBA, Dashboard Development, Automation, and other data manipulation tools.
