Front Office Intern Full Time

Position Summary:

The Front Office Intern will have the opportunity to build upon their classroom knowledge through practical, hands-on experience in hotel operations. As part of Marriott’s Hotel Internship Program, you will gain a deep understanding of hotel management from the ground up, experiencing first-hand how each department operates. This role will immerse you in Marriott’s culture, helping you find your true calling in the travel and hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the front office team in managing daily operations, including guest check-in and check-out processes.
• Provide outstanding guest service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Learn about Marriott’s standards of service and ensure they are adhered to at all times.
• Shadow experienced team members and develop practical skills in managing reservations, room allocations, and guest communication.
• Support the front desk with administrative duties, such as filing and data entry.
• Participate in Marriott’s culture and business through assigned projects and collaborations with different hotel departments.
• Learn about hotel systems, policies, and operational strategies to prepare for a career in hotel management.

Requirements:

• Must be a current college or university student, studying a related field (e.g., hospitality, tourism, business management).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Eager to learn and enthusiastic about the hospitality industry.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per the hotel’s operational needs.
