General Accountant Full Time

Position Summary:

EHC Investment is seeking a skilled General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, attention to detail, and experience in handling financial transactions and reporting. As a General Accountant, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain general ledger, financial statements, and balance sheets.
• Prepare and process journal entries and month-end/year-end closings.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify discrepancies and resolve them.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Assist in audits and other accounting tasks as needed.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure timely filing in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
