Graduate Surveyor Full Time

The Role

We are seeking a Graduate Surveyor, to specialise in valuations for loan security and financial reporting. The surveyor will work with a wide range of clients including local, international and private banks, private wealth customers, local and international companies and Government Departments. The role is based out of Sharjah although will be expected to work across the UAE and potentially wider Middle East region occasionally. The ideal candidate will be wishing to pursue, or currently pursuing the APC, towards qualification as a member of the RICS.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out property valuations for land, residential, commercial, offices & industrial assets, both existing property, new build and under construction, ensuring correct advice and guidance is provided on market values
Conduct valuation assignments, including but not limited to inspection, valuation, report writing, meeting and presenting to clients
Collate information from internal and external sources on the Middle East property markets
To maintain a database of information by coordinating with the research and valuation team members
To collaborate with other departments to obtain and provide data on markets
Preparation of reports from data collected on the assignments as and when required
Coordinate and manage instructions, specifically the turnaround time whilst maintaining quality control
Manage multiple instructions at the same time, efficiently and effectively
Escalating issues to peers and Surveyors as required
Handling commercial property inquiries and reporting suitable options to the client
Support your team in achieving their individual and/or departmental set goals and objectives
Attend internal and external networking events (CPD)
Assist in expanding the client base and develop business with existing client contacts.

Skills, Knowledge And Experience
Educated to Bachelor’s degree and/or Masters level (RICS Accredited)
Excellent communication skills
Driving license holder (UAE)
2-3 years’ experience in the UAE highly preferred
Have a sound business knowledge especially within this market sector
Has broad knowledge of principles and practices of related disciplines
Excellent reporting and organizational skills
Proactive and excellent team player
Based in the UAE or willing to relocate.
