Guest Relations Supervisor Full Time

Position Summary:

The St. Regis Dubai The Palm is seeking a Guest Relations Supervisor for the Rüya restaurant. The primary responsibility is to ensure the team works cohesively to deliver optimal guest service and satisfaction. The role involves supervising the team, maintaining standards, and addressing guest needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the guest relations team to ensure optimal service levels and guest satisfaction.
• Inspect grooming and attire of staff, rectifying any deficiencies as needed.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies, cleaning equipment, and locking doors.
• Monitor dining areas for seating availability, safety, and guest well-being.
• Perform scheduled inventories, stock supplies, and manage requisitions.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and motivating staff.
• Act as a role model and the first point of contact for resolving staff concerns through the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Adhere to safety and security procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
• Welcome guests in a professional manner, anticipate and address their needs, and ensure a positive guest experience.
• Maintain positive working relationships with staff, support teamwork, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as required by supervisors.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to move through narrow spaces, climb stairs, and navigate service ramps.
• Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are required for handling objects of varying sizes.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in guest relations or similar roles, with 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Language: Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are beneficial.
• Skills: Strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and leadership abilities.
