Guest Service Officer Full Time

Andaz Dubai The Palm is seeking a Guest Service Officer – Concierge to provide exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting guests with a variety of concierge-related services, including restaurant reservations, city tours, and recommendations for tourist spots. The role is crucial to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Concierge department within the Rooms Division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guests with information about local attractions, dining options, and entertainment venues.
• Assist guests with making reservations for restaurants, booking city tours, and arranging transportation.
• Offer personalized recommendations based on guest preferences and needs.
• Handle guest inquiries and provide detailed information about the hotel’s services and amenities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Contribute to the overall guest experience by anticipating and fulfilling guest needs.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge about local events, activities, and attractions.
• Support the smooth operation of the Concierge department by managing requests efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Education: Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of work experience in hotel operations.
• Skills:
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Arabic or Russian is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
