Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor Full Time

Position Summary

Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the property. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting guest rooms, public areas, pools, and other spaces after cleaning to verify they meet our quality standards. You will coordinate with various departments, including Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection & Quality Assurance: Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pools, and other spaces after cleaning to ensure they meet the hotel’s quality standards.
• Room Management: Run sold room reports, verify room status, and determine and address discrepancies. Prioritize room cleaning and update the status of departing guest rooms.
• Coordination: Act as a liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry to ensure smooth operations.
• Issue Resolution: Document and resolve discrepancies with rooms in coordination with the Front Desk. Communicate any issues to the next shift.
• Administrative Tasks: Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments. Complete required paperwork and ensure accurate records.
• Staff Supervision: Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching housekeeping staff.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all company policies related to safety, security, and confidentiality. Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries. Complete necessary safety training and certifications.
• Guest Interaction: Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Anticipate and address guest needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities. Communicate professionally and clearly with guests and colleagues.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and heavier objects with assistance. Must be able to push and pull loaded housekeeping carts and other machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces. Must be able to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience in housekeeping or a similar field.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
