Housekeeper Full Time

Job Summary:

The Housekeeper at Bulgari Resort Dubai is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort in assigned guest rooms and public areas. This role involves responding promptly to guest requests, ensuring all rooms meet the resort’s quality standards, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Interaction: Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Room Preparation: Enter guest rooms following proper procedures for access and vacancy confirmation. Replace guest amenities, clean linens, and make beds.
• Cleaning Duties: Clean bathrooms, remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items. Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties.
• Supply Management: Fill and transport a housekeeping cart with necessary supplies to assigned areas.
• Room Maintenance: Check that all appliances in the room are present and in working order. Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow all company and safety policies, report maintenance problems, safety hazards, or injuries, and complete safety training and certifications. Properly store flammable materials.
• Professionalism: Maintain a clean and professional appearance, keep proprietary information confidential, and provide excellent service to guests.
• Team Support: Support the team to reach common goals, ensure adherence to quality standards, and perform additional tasks as requested by supervisors.
• Physical Requirements: Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and heavier items with assistance. Push and pull loaded carts over uneven surfaces, and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and stooping. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods.

Requirements:

• Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Experience: No prior related work experience required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
• Skills: Ability to operate housekeeping equipment, perform cleaning tasks efficiently, and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a housekeeping role within a hospitality environment is a plus.
