The HR Leader – Middle East is responsible for providing Human Resources leadership and support to the Middle East region in a wide range of functional areas of human resources including but not limited to HR strategy, organizational development and organizational change management, employee and/or labor relations, compensation and benefits, recruitment and employment as well as HR projects. The incumbent will act as the primary HR interface between the business team in the Middle East region and the EMEA HR function supporting the execution of the regions business strategy according to EATON values.
Acts as business partner, strategic solution provider, advisor and counselor for the business leadership team. Understands and contributes to the business strategies and identifies opportunities to improve organizational capability to meet the current and future needs of the business.
Acts as a role model and sponsor for Eaton Values and Philosophy
Supports the leadership in the establishment and maintenance of an effective talent management and succession planning process and focuses on building the leadership capabilities for the Middle East operations. Drive local efforts to build bench strength and early talent.
Ensure effective deployment of performance management systems and coach managers on the process. Ensure peers and leaders are accountable for results and fully utilize the performance management tools to develop direct reports. Challenge the team to collaborate and identify leadership issues within the organization with the goal of addressing all performance issues.
Provide leaders of people guidance and mentoring. Develop and implement solutions to organizational changes by leading / coaching others through change
Develop & deploy HR strategies to manage and drive the culture and align the organization for growth in line with Eaton Philosophy & Values which encourage employee engagement. Fully utilize annual Employee Survey process to analyze results and establish goals and action plans.
Drive continuous functional process improvement utilizing EBS tools and support division and location objectives for operational excellence.
Leads the HR function in the Middle East region supporting them in deploying the HR strategy and in optimizing / leveraging standard work and support for items such as wellness, I&D, communications, Leadership Development, HR Services etc. Drives continuous improvement within the business line HR team and delivers on assigned projects.
Develop, maintain, and administer competitive wage and benefit programs that reinforce the principles of a performance-based culture. Ensure effective development and administration of variable pay incentive programs.
Direct staffing activities for Middle East operations utilizing cost-effective recruitment techniques and leveraging corporate resources.
Advise managers and supervisors on employee relations matters. Ensure that business is aligned and tackles emerging employment issues in a consistent and strategic manner.
Acts as one of the local champions for I&D initiatives including training the workforce on the principles of inclusion and diversity in the workplace.
Participate in all M&A activity as needed.
Drive alignment & rollout on Sales Incentive Process and Variable Pay plans in conjunction with the leadership team and Finance.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Middle East leadership team and the Director of HR in EMEA.
The position of Human Resource Manager requires specialized knowledge in the following areas; safety, compensation and labor laws, salary administration, performance planning, job evaluation systems, effective change management methods, facilitation skills.
Also desired strong employee and leadership development experience, collaborative team building, and project management skills. Profound knowledge and experience of change management process implementation
Experience in driving organizational and cultural changes in a complex environment.
Minimum educational requirements include Bachelor Degree or equivalent credentials plus 5-7 years functional leadership experience in the human resources field. Advanced degree preferred.
High level of social competence and cultural awareness sense of responsibility, strong teamwork, solution-oriented and independent working methods, a high degree of initiative as well as a willingness and interest to engage in a committed team
Analytical skills coupled with pragmatism
Experienced with matrix structures in multinational corporations
