HSE Supervisor Full Time

Identifies deficiencies in the design, construction, and operation of production facilities that may cause injury to or adversely affect the health of company personnel documents such deficiencies and initiates corrective action. Ensure the Health & Safety system and Environmental Management System established and maintained by Agthia. The people in this position are also responsible for ensuring corrective actions are taken against the Health, Safety & Environmental issues related to the company.




Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a site road map and implement the improvements.
• Conduct a risk assessment and environmental impact assessment for the site.
• Identify grounds, building structure, equipment, and utilities, including workflow that may pose a potential safety risk.
• Review and evaluate the HSE performance of the site including the contractor.
• Plan, endorse, and monitor the effectiveness of HSE performance.
• Lead the external audit and conduct internal audits GMP/GWP.
• Collect the required safety data and update the HSE dashboard.
• Involve with accident investigations and prepare the report as required with an action plan.
• Come up with an HSE initiative that can improve the HSE performance or site sustainability performance.
• Implement HSE policies and procedures on the site.

• Good English speaking.
• Good report writing skills.
• Good leadership skills to coordinate safety activities.
• Good communication skills that enable us to conduct effective safety matters.
• A Driving license is a must.
• Able to provide detailed audit reports, with relevant required preventive and corrective measures.
• Strong knowledge in assessing HSE Risks.
• Very Good knowledge and experience in working with Microsoft Office Tools (ie; word, excel, ppt,).
• Speaking Arabic is a plus.

Mininmum Requirements

• A bachelor’s or a Diploma in engineering or science.
• 5 years of functional experience in a large organization in a similar capacity (food industry is a plus).
