HVAC Technician Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including tasks like charging refrigeration systems, replacing air filters, and cleaning coils.​






• Test and record water quality in boiler, condenser, and loop systems; take corrective actions such as adding chemicals to prevent corrosion and deposits.​

• Activate valves to regulate water levels in boilers, adjust combustion air supplies, and control fuel flow into burners.​

• Perform minor plumbing and mechanical work related to HVAC systems and equipment as needed.​

• Monitor and inspect HVAC plant/equipment, Building Management System (BMS) terminals, switches, valves, gauges, alarms, safety devices, and meters to detect leaks or malfunctions and ensure efficient and safe operation.​

• Maintain a safe and orderly engineering area, coordinating closely with other engineering staff for smooth operations.​

• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.​

• Assist in energy conservation programs and collaborate with banquet staff to optimize electricity and air conditioning usage.​

• Comply with hotel and corporate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).​

• Attend all safety and fire training sessions and adhere to safety protocols.​

Qualifications:

• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.​

• At least 3 years of related work experience.​

• EPA Universal Certification.

• Driver’s License.​

• HVAC Certification.​

Preferred Skills:

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.​

• Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs.​

• Proficiency in monitoring and analyzing energy and utilities usage.​

• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.​
