Implementation Engineer (Python & AWS) – Devops – US EDtech company ? Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Implementation Engineer with expertise in Python and AWS to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining our software applications on AWS infrastructure. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver successful implementations and troubleshoot implementation problems, particularly related to the implementation of new features.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and configure software applications on AWS infrastructure.
Design and implement scalable and resilient solutions on AWS, utilizing best practices and industry standards.
Automate deployment and configuration tasks using scripting languages such as Python.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure and deployed applications, particularly during the implementation of new features or updates.
Develop and maintain documentation related to deployed applications and infrastructure.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies related to AWS and software implementation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
3+ years of experience in software implementation, deployment, and configuration on AWS infrastructure.
Extensive experience troubleshooting issues related to AWS infrastructure and deployed applications, particularly during the implementation of new features or updates.
Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform or CDK.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
