Junior Accountant Full Time

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our accounts team for an exciting project with NPCC. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, experience in the manufacturing industry, and proficiency in ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Post and process journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
2. Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
3. Manage petty cash expenses and maintain detailed records.
4. Maintain supplier and customer invoice records.
5. Prepare and keep physical VAT records in compliance with UAE VAT law.
6. Coordinate with suppliers for invoice submissions.
7. Collect payroll data, post entries in books, and prepare reconciliations.
8. Ensure accounts payable invoices are properly formatted and authorized.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education and Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting (preferably in the manufacturing industry).
  • Basic understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT law.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (ODDO preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to manage accounts accurately and efficiently.
