Junior Accountant Full Time

What You Will Do

• Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts receivable & Payable records.
• Serve as a liaison between sales teams, customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and other relevant parties to facilitate the exchange of information and documentation related to sales transactions.
• Update accounts receivable and issue statement of accounts.
• Update expenses records and reconciliations.
• Accept payments & Issue Receipts.
• Calculate and return change when required by the payment method.
• Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change.
• Assist with reviewing expenses, Loan & Sales Commissions records etc. as assigned.
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
• Assist with other accounting projects.

Who You Are

• Excellent communication skills in Arabic & English
• Proven experience as a junior accountant
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. NetSuite)
• Great attention to detail
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
