Junior Accountant Full Time

Job Summary:

Our Abu Dhabi office is looking for a Junior Accountant who will manage the account payables and receivables of the company. The ideal candidate must be able to join immediately.

Accounts Payables Responsibilities:

• Review due invoices prior to payment.
• Receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.
• Comparing system reports to balances and verifying entries.
• Perform recordkeeping and preparing AR reports.
• Prioritize invoice payment processing as per CFO’s approval.
• Update account payables report in a timely manner.
• Posting payments against invoices.

Accounts receivables responsibilities:

• Maintain up-to-date accounts receivable report.
• Generate invoices as per request from Project Managers.
• Send invoices to respective Project Managers
• With knowledge of credit notes issuance.
• Knowledge of foreign currencies exchange.
• Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Proven work experience in accounts payables and receivables
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• Good knack for numbers, math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Familiarity with basic tax rules and UAE regulations of VAT
• Proficiency in English and MS Office
