Junior Tax Accountant Full Time

We are looking for a Junior Tax Accountant who will be responsible for the following objectives:




• Establish processes and documentations for VAT.

• Prepare VAT reports and ensure timely VAT returns filing.

• Validate and book Accounts Payable Invoices.

• Handle interactions with UAE FTA as required promptly.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist colleagues across different business areas for compliance purposes and local tax returns accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
• Supporting Tax Audits: Assisting in internal and external tax audits by preparing necessary documentation and supporting responses to audit inquiries.
• Process invoice payments after performing a 3-way match and completeness of documentation, VAT compliance and make accounting entries.
• Work with the tax team to cover for absences or provide support when needed.
• Stay updated with relevant tax technical regulations.
• Provide assistance on ad-hoc projects and reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Tax or General financial accounting is required
• Strong organizational skills.
• Shouldhave SAP knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
