Laundry Attendant Full Time

Position Summary:

As a Laundry Attendant at Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, fresh, and memorable experience. This role is more than just handling linens; it’s about maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service that our guests expect. You will be responsible for the efficient and professional handling of laundry, ensuring all guest and hotel linens are spotless and properly presented. Your proactive approach will ensure that the laundry operation supports the overall guest experience seamlessly.




Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, iron, fold, and deliver linens and guest laundry items promptly and efficiently.
• Inspect linens for damage or stains and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Operate laundry machinery safely and maintain cleanliness in the laundry area.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and laundry.
• Track and log laundry operations, noting any special guest requests or irregularities.
• Adhere to safety procedures and handle chemicals and equipment responsibly.
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment for laundry supplies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, and handle items up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Willingness to collaborate with a team and support various hotel operations.
