Lifeguard Health & Safety Full Time

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety of members and guests in our swimming facilities. As a Lifeguard, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all pool users while upholding the highest standards of health and safety.




Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise all activities in and around the pool area.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment.
• Respond quickly to emergencies, performing rescues and administering first aid as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pool and surrounding areas.
• Conduct routine safety checks on pool equipment and report any issues.
• Provide a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all members and guests.
• Participate in regular training and drills to maintain lifeguarding and first-aid skills.

Qualifications

• Valid Lifeguard certification (e.g., Red Cross, Ellis & Associates, or equivalent).
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Previous experience as a Lifeguard is preferred.
• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
• Excellent observational and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations.
