Job Overview

DAMAC Properties is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead and optimize logistics operations, ensuring cost efficiency, timely deliveries, and streamlined inventory management. The ideal candidate will develop and implement logistics strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement in supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Supply Chain Management

• Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate and manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Optimize routing and scheduling for maximum efficiency and cost savings.

Inventory Management & Cost Control

• Oversee inventory control procedures to minimize losses and optimize stock rotation.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor and optimize logistics costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction.

Supplier & Third-Party Management

• Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with logistics service providers.
• Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Process Optimization & Performance Monitoring

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics operations.
• Utilize data and analytics to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement best practices in logistics and supply chain management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of logistics and supply chain experience, preferably within real estate, construction, or large-scale operations.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, inventory management, and logistics software.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance monitoring tools.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
